Babusar Pass

Located at a height of 4173 m, Babusar Pass links Gilgit Baltistan with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region in Pakistan. The British built Babusar pass road as a back-up route to link Gilgit with British India during the colonial era. Babusar Pass is blocked throughout the winter months owing to the high levels of snowfall. In mid-June to mid-September, this pass is available for purchase. The Babusar road is one of the most hair-pin bends in the planet.

Balakot

Mansehra is 38 kilometers away by car if you're heading to Balakot. Babusar Pass and the Naran Valley are accessible from the city. Tourists go to Balakot in droves. Balakot is the gateway to the Kunhar River. The 2005 earthquake leveled the city.

Naran

Mansehra is 119 kilometers away from Naran, a small town. Naran has a wide variety of lodging options, from high-end to low-budget. The monsoon and winter months bring strong downpours to Naran. During the winter months, Pakistani visitors go to Naran to get a glimpse of the snow.

You will drop down the Thak valley on the Babusar route to Gilgit Baltistan till you reach zero-point. the intersection of Karakoram Highway and Babusar Road (N15). Gilgit Baltistan may now be reached through the Karakoram Highway. Jiglote is 2 hours away from the starting location. Skardu, Astore, and KKH highways all intersect in Jiglote. Following KKH will take you to the Hunza Valley and Gilgit-Baltistan. You must use the Skardu road if you wish to get to Skardu.
