Shina New Songs 2022

Title: Ya Wanay Sangdil

Lyrics: Hatam Sahar

Vocals: Hatam Sahar & Shakir Hussain Fariyad

The two singers of Gilgit Baltistan, Hatam Sahar and Shakir Hussain Fariyad sing the Shina song which is a composition of by Hatam Sahar. The song portrays the reality of modern life, which is that there is no hope for the future and no one can predict when someone will die. Singing on how life hasn't been true to anybody, the songwriter argues that we should leave our sorrows behind us and focus on the joys of the here and now. He also wants his loved ones to visit him. It’s a common question: "How long must he waits for you?" since he doesn't know when his time on this Earth will end.

He also terms his loved one cruel since she hasn't been to see him and he states that he has been gazing at the streets where she used to walk. That he is powerless and unable to escape the recollections of her is how he describes his situation. He elaborates his helplessness by saying that “he too is human being and he elaborates his helplessness by saying that “he too is human being and says that how long will he make to survive through this flame".

To make matters worse for him, the singer believes that by falling in love with her, "I don't know when will I obtain the benefit of love?" he has destroyed his life and the hereafter. He adds that he hasn't been able to hide the tears in his eyes and that you are constantly in his thoughts. He expresses his sentiments by adding that he has preserved her desire in his heart and that even if you are not in my life, your memories remain in my destiny.

As a follow-up, he advises against publicly discussing the scars in heart, as this would only cause you more anguish. According to him, there is no purpose in discussing the past since there would never be another moment to do so. As well, it's best to live in the present with your memories rather than dwell on the past.
